In Garden City, Kansas, City On A Hill, Inc. helps men, women, and teens who are dealing with substance abuse and addiction without them having to stay in a residential facility. The facility helps people get better through faith-based programs. At its Dighton site, it has a special residential program for women. With the goal of helping people improve their lives, City On A Hill helps a lot of different kinds of people in different ways.
There are many programs at the center, such as outpatient treatment, short-term home care for adult women, the Alcohol and Drug Information School (ADIS), and diagnostic tests. City On A Hill focuses on complete recovery through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), individual and group therapy, and care that takes into account trauma. Their services also help people grow as people by giving them parenting skills, job chances, and spiritual growth. The building has a license to provide Medicaid services through Kancare and is approved as a Block Grant Provider.
