About us
The mission of Newton, Kansas-based non-profit organization Mirror is to provide comprehensive assistance to those who are battling alcohol and drug misuse. They provide a variety of services, such as DUI assistance, aftercare planning, and outpatient programs. Mirror was founded in 1972 and has always worked on the tenet that, with the correct assistance, people can transform and overcome addiction. Their qualified team works closely with each client, customizing treatment to maximize chances for sustained success.
Mirror provides the Alcohol and Drug Information School (ADIS) to customers who are required by court orders to complete instruction after being involved in a DUI or who seek more knowledge around drug use. Important subjects covered in this eight-hour course include the effects of drugs and alcohol on the body, the risks associated with driving while intoxicated, and the addictive qualities of certain substances. For a little cost, classes are offered in several Mirror locations, giving people in need of education access to education.
Mirror provides a wide range of behavioral health treatments, including treatment for co-occurring mental health illnesses, in addition to alcohol and drug misuse therapy. Mirror is one of the biggest providers of mental health services in Kansas, helping both people and communities with an emphasis on prevention, intervention, and rehabilitation. Through the assistance of their continuum of care, clients are enabled to attain a better and more satisfying life at every step of their recovery.

We understand that choosing an addiction treatment center can be overwhelming, especially with so many options, promises, and marketing messages. Thatโs why weโve developed a clear, standardized rating system designed to cut through the noise and highlight what truly matters: safety, quality of care, and transparency. Our goal is to give individuals and families the information they need to make confident, informed decisions during a critical time.
In this guide, we explain exactly how we rate treatment centersโfrom accreditation and staff credentials to therapy options, facility environment, and family involvement. Youโll see how we assign scores, award badges, and update listings to ensure accuracy and fairness. Most importantly, our system focuses on elevating centers that prioritize ethical, evidence-based care, not just those with the best marketing. This way, you can trust that the ratings you see reflect meaningful standards that help you find the right fit for lasting recovery.
