Addiction recovery, which encompasses specialized residential substance use treatment, is one of the primary services offered at the Saint Charles facility. More than 350 beds are available to provide support to individuals who are enduring residential care at all Preferred Family Healthcare locations. The Saint Charles facility is distinguished by its family-centered approach, which enables mothers and their children to remain together throughout the treatment process.
PFH Saint Charles provides Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP) in addition to residential care. These services consist of a structured therapeutic program for individuals who require comprehensive support but do not require inpatient care. The IOP program, which emphasizes the maintenance of daily life, provides individual, group, and family therapy to assist individuals in overcoming their emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is also available at PFH for individuals who are experiencing withdrawal symptoms as part of their recovery journey. This treatment is based on evidence and involves the use of medications in conjunction with counseling and behavioral therapies to alleviate withdrawal symptoms and facilitate long-term recovery.
