About us

The Gooden Center, located in Pasadena, California, offers men complete treatment for dual diagnoses, mental health issues, and drug use disorders. An Episcopal bishop and five members of Alcoholics Anonymous founded it in 1962, and since then, it has expanded from a tiny, encouraging group to a respectable treatment center that now helps thousands of people. The Gooden Center provides a comfortable, homey setting that makes it a secure and encouraging place for those going through rehabilitation.

The Gooden Center’s programs serve clients at all phases of their recovery process by providing a comprehensive continuum of treatment, which includes residential, day programs, intensive outpatient services, and sober living.
