Behavioral Health: Equine Services and MindCare Clinic, both of which are part of Muckleshoot Family and Youth Services – Behavioral Health and are situated in Auburn, Washington, offer specialized and innovative mental health services that are tailored to the distinctive needs of each individual and their culture. MindCare Clinic specializes in the provision of state-of-the-art mental health treatments, such as neurofeedback, Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Field (PEMF) therapy, and Nexalin therapy, to improve brain function and promote tranquility.
Behavioral Health: Equine Services, in contrast, offers a unique therapeutic work environment for tribal members by integrating equine-assisted therapy with job skills development and peer support. Cultural values and non-violent communication are prioritized by the Equine Assistants Work Training Program and weekly therapeutic groups, including the Women’s Circle and Social & Emotional Skills Group.
