About us

Dedicated to assisting individuals in overcoming drug misuse, InterCommunity – Clayton House is an intermediate residential treatment center situated in central Connecticut. Clayton House is a structured program that may help up to 15 men and women for a maximum of six months. The facility is designed with the needs of those in recovery in mind, offering a safe haven where people may start over and strive toward sustained sobriety.

The Clayton House program places a strong emphasis on striking a balance between employment and recuperation. In order to assist residents reintegrate into society and develop a feeling of responsibility, full-time job must be obtained throughout the day. Residents engage in individual and group therapy sessions as part of an extensive therapeutic program that takes place in the evenings. These sessions aim to develop coping mechanisms, deal with the root causes of addiction, and provide the emotional support required for long-term recovery.

The comprehensive treatment philosophy of Clayton House acknowledges that rehabilitation entails more than merely quitting drugs. The program’s requirement that residents work in addition to attending treatment sessions is meant to assist participants in building the resilience and skills needed to stay sober over the long run. Additionally, the institution cultivates a strong sense of community by allowing residents to interact with others going through comparable struggles and create lifelong support networks.

To help residents in their recovery process, Clayton House provides a range of tools and support services in addition to a regular daily schedule. These might include instruction in relapse prevention, life skills training, and access to extra community services that can support residents in maintaining their success once the program is over. The ultimate objective of InterCommunity – Clayton House is to enable people to live productive, healthy lives free from the shackles of addiction.
