About us
The Gables, a part of the NUWAY Alliance, is a specialized residential treatment center for adult women located in Rochester, Minnesota. This facility uses a dual diagnosis method to treat people who have both mental health and substance use disorders at the same time. The Gables offers individualized programs that are made to fit the wants and goals of each client, making sure that each person has a unique path to recovery.
The center provides full care with on-site nursing support (non-prescribing) and staff supervision 24 hours a day to make sure the setting is safe and supportive. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Twelve Step Facilitation, and Motivational Interviewing are some of the evidence-based clinical methods used at The Gables to help people get better. It is important to The Gables that everyone feels safe and welcome, including GLBTQIA+ people. The program takes into account the effects of trauma and helps treatment and recovery with medication. It offers a complete way to heal and stay recovered for a long time.

9.4
Out of 10
We understand that choosing an addiction treatment center can be overwhelming, especially with so many options, promises, and marketing messages. Thatโs why weโve developed a clear, standardized rating system designed to cut through the noise and highlight what truly matters: safety, quality of care, and transparency. Our goal is to give individuals and families the information they need to make confident, informed decisions during a critical time.
In this guide, we explain exactly how we rate treatment centersโfrom accreditation and staff credentials to therapy options, facility environment, and family involvement. Youโll see how we assign scores, award badges, and update listings to ensure accuracy and fairness. Most importantly, our system focuses on elevating centers that prioritize ethical, evidence-based care, not just those with the best marketing. This way, you can trust that the ratings you see reflect meaningful standards that help you find the right fit for lasting recovery.
