Founded in 1951, Peace Hospital, a part of UofL Health, is a private, nonprofit facility specializing in dual diagnosis addiction rehabilitation located in Louisville, KY. , with 363 licensed beds, Peace Hospital offers comprehensive care for children, adolescents, and adults.
The hospital’s inpatient programs are grounded in recovery principles, catering to individuals battling substance use and/or co-occurring mental health issues. Treatments are tailored to meet each patient’s specific needs, encompassing services such as medical detoxification, individual, and group therapy. Additionally, aftercare services are available to patients upon completing their program.
For adults aged 18 and over, including a specialty group for older adults, outpatient programs are structured to offer optimal recovery pathways. These programs, accessible during both day and evening hours, include a range of services like medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
